There are 57 books on the list. This means that on average, I read one book a week. Not too bad considering that prior to my personal “audiobook era”, I was only consuming 15-20 books a year. Mostly with the help of a PDA.If in 2008 I discovered the world of the Strugatskys, then in 2009 I devoted a lot of time to Akunin. First of all, thanks to his language, not plots.Well, the most powerful book of the year for me was the story of Hercules from G. Oldie. Only I wanted to (and still want to) recommend it to friends.P.S. The very only paper book I read in 2009 is nothing more than a guide to India, published by Lonely Planet.
