The new song is Alexander Rybak’s performance with Norwegian metallers Keep of Kalessin (they play black-metal). This extraordinary event happened during the qualifying competition for the next Eurovision Song Contest. As far as I understand, the song itself does not participate in the competition, but in vain.
I have never been fond of Rybak’s work, or black metal, and even more so Eurovision, but I must admit that the performance turned out to be impressive (the cameraman is also great). Alexander, we must give him his due, perfectly fit into the team of metalworkers, caught the energy, caught the wave.
P.S. The audience waving colorful balloons at the end of the song is just the bomb. Brilliant! This may become a new stage in metal merchandising (sale of merchandise with band symbols).
