For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been getting calls from two or three insurance companies every day, addressing me by name and offering to take out insurance on the car.
The question is, where did the insurance information come from? Have they bought the traffic police database and are calling all the motorists in the city?
Or was the information leaked through other channels – car dealerships, my former insurance company, or something else?
How officially can they make such calls? Are there any call restrictions? Or can anyone call anyone as many times as they want? Is phone spam punishable?
